|Do you have a green thumb or want to acquire one? Are you interested in environmental concerns? Would you like to help beautify our surroundings? If so, you might want to consider joining the Palm Aire Garden Club!
Our club’s objectives are:
The Palm Aire Garden Club generally meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 11:00 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity located at 5900 North Lockwood Ridge Road. Following our business meeting, we enjoy a lovely lite lunch prepared by a committee of club members. After lunch, we are treated to programs on topics regarding one of our objectives stated above. We sometimes take trips to nearby venues that relate to gardening or other topics of interest.
to help members gain knowledge and understanding of the specialized skills of gardening
to cultivate and study the art of floral design
to beautify our community, state and nation
to practice, encourage and study wise control of the environment
to strive to preserve and protect wildlife habitats
There are no resident restrictions to joining the Palm Aire Garden Club. We limit our membership to 50. Annual dues are $35. In December and May we have a special luncheon at the Palm Aire Country Club. We have an upper limit of 50 active members. The Garden Club does not do fundraising, but our dues support up to seven charities which may vary from year to year.
